For the last 20 years Eva has been involved in various aspects of horticulture: food production, amenity horticulture, landscaping and education.
Eva operated Erhardt Horticulture Services, a garden design and landscaping businesses in North Queensland for 12 years, including a production nursery specialising in fast growing foliage plants.
For 3 years, she delivered certificate courses for the Australian Agricultural College Corporation, at the workplace in Horticulture, Agriculture and Conservation and Land Management.
Eva has been invited as a guest speaker, held workshops and presentations at garden expos, conferences, community organisations, and various garden clubs.
For 7 years, she wrote a weekly garden column covering all aspect of gardening: soil health, food production, plant selection, propagation, pruning, composting, attracting birds to your garden, recycling, water & land management.
Eva established an organic small crop farm with her husband in the Wide Bay Region in the early 2000. They designed their commercial property with Permaculture principles according to climate, soil type, rainfall, and crop therefore streamlining the whole business operation.
